Details: Saturday, July 31st will be a day of action in cities across Iowa where supporters like yourself will join together and stand up for Iowa. Volunteers will be speaking to their neighbors about our Democratic candidates. We are holding a big canvassing event to counter the efforts of the Republicans. Our Day of Action will take place at the Clinton County Democratic Headquarters and will be broken up into two shifts with phone calling shifts beginning at 10:30 and 2:30 then canvassing shifts beginning at 11:00am and 3:00pm.

Every local should send 1-3 people to participate in this important launch of our Labor 2010 Campaign. A lot is at stake this election, and we know that the GOP is already organizing with foot soldiers on the ground making calls, knocking doors, buying billboards and sending letters to the editor.
