Details: Saturday, July 31st will be a day of action in cities across Iowa where supporters like yourself will join together and stand up for Iowa. Volunteers will be speaking to their neighbors about our Democratic candidates. We are holding a big canvassing event to counter the efforts of the Republicans. Our Day of Action will take place at the Clinton County Democratic Headquarters and will be broken up into two shifts with phone calling shifts beginning at 10:30 and 2:30 then canvassing shifts beginning at 11:00am and 3:00pm.

The 1st District Committee will meet on Sunday, Aug. 29th at 2:30 in Dyersville at the Country Junction in the lower level. Election of officers for 2010-2012 will be held. Plans on how to raise $2,500 to complete the second $5,000 donation to Congressman Braley will be on the agenda as well as county and state reports.
It is important that enough of our delegate eat at the restaurant before the meeting or afterwards to avoid a room rental charge. Sunday noon the restaurant buffet is offered instead of a menu, but a menu is available later in the day. Please make every effort to attend this meeting.
